Lavender Thai Therapy is an accredited VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) training centre in the UK and Thailand.
We are based in Elm Park, East London and have an International School in the Nongjok district of Bangkok which is only a short drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
We run VTCT’s qualifications. VTCT is a recognised UK awarding body. At present, our Bangkok school offers a VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Thai Massage.
VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Thai Massage is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your ability to provide Thai massage treatments safely and effectively to clients. Underpinning this qualification, you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety along with client care and communication. You will develop a knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to Thai massage. The history of Thai massage, along with its theoretic concepts are also included. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in providing Thai massage treatments to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to provide your own services for clients.
This qualification is regulated by the UK National Occupational Standards (NOS) – on the Regulated Qualifications Framework.
Prerequisite: There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification.
Progression
When you have successfully completed this qualification, it can lead directly into employment in the beauty or complementary therapy industries as a Thai massage practitioner and or enable you to open your own business in the UK.
